Welcome to the Christ in the Scriptures blog!

“For I determined not to know anything among you

except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.’

– 1 Cor. 2:2 (NKJV)

My name is Bill Loudon, and I am a Bible teacher living in Bogotá, Colombia with my wife, Angela, and son, Cedric. We attend and serve at Iglesia Parkway.

The project “Christ in the Scriptures” consists of this blog, a YouTube channel, and a course website (under development), along with the social media accounts to complement them. Hopefully a podcast and discipleship course can be launched soon as well.

This project is an act of worship to Him who it attempts to focus on.

Thanks to my family, Angela and Cedric.

Thanks to Dr. John Sailhamer, who passed away on January 9, 2017.

Thanks to Shawn Wicks, who helps me stay grounded ministerially.

Thanks to Craig Petrovich, who helps me stay grounded in the text.

Thanks to Julian Gutierrez, who helps me stay grounded theologically.

Thanks to Mark Howell, who helps me stay grounded historically.

Thanks to Ron Letkeman, who helps me with graphic design (it’s pretty clear which parts!).

Thanks to everyone who supports us in prayer and financially, so that we can live in Colombia and have some time to work on this project.

Thanks to my friends and coworkers who helped lay the foundations of this project.

Thanks to a few key authors who have influenced me greatly.

Thanks to each of my Talbot profs.

Thanks to the rest of my family and friends.
